What paint are you using? I would love one to spray epoxies etc but way out of my budget. There are cheap Chinese knockoffs though.

Cant remember exactly but its made by manor something like zinfoss 250 I think its called
18 litres a minute at 450 bar sounds quite optimistic off a 3.5kw motor
Yes perhaps but even half that would do me for the price!

Reminds me of something that happened to my dad about 35 years ago
He was using an airless spray and rubbed the nozzle with his thumb to clear a blockage, but injected paint directly into his thumb
Hospital cleared most out but said they would damage his thumb going too deep, could still see the paint in his thumb
About 10 years ago it randomly flared up and he needed quite a delicate operation to clear it all out, they removed quite a quantity
No idea why it didn't affect him for 25 years

Keep a set of spare seals and tips for it, and plenty of thinners.
And don't put your finger over the tip.
Used to spray a lot of steelwork, gets it done in no time. And no need to thin paint. Epoxy, proper zinc phosphate, spray the lot. Wheel it up to the 25litre tin, put the pipe in and go for it.
