anyone got a hydraulic hose swager

got a bobcat s175 and need 6 new pipes forit

cant currently remember what size the hoses are but just under a iinch i think

anyone know of any cheap hose or does anyone have a swager and would be willing to make me a few for a few beer tokens

Most agricultural engineers have a swager. They sell hose by the metre and the fittings individually then just crimp up what you want. Crimpety crimpety...sorry, couldn't resist!

our local ones have one but charge a stuppid amount to swage a pipe which doesnt take very long

they charge x£ for each one even though six wouldnt take much longer when the machine is set up for the size

was wondering if someone could do it cheaper although not for free obviousely

So you're saying they could crimp off a length for you...?

Some time back on here ( this site ) there was a simple piccy of a nome made bench vice mounted useable swaging device .
I seem to recall it was made from two or three sections of thick steel , a welded frame on a keeper frame that held the moveable inner .
The jaws of the crimp pieces appeared to be four sides of a hexagon .. a bit like an adjustable spanners jaws profile.
