Anyone experience with CMP4 flag terminal crimpers

I have just bought these "new" from a certain auction site and whilst the overall crimper looks new I think the jaws look very worn but as this is the first flag terminal crimper I have bought I wondered if anyone could confirm that these jaws are worn or "as new"

From the images, there appears to be zero wear on the jaws or the handles or main body of the tool. The jaws are likely to be standard and easily replaceable, if necessary. Other pattern jaws are also available Make sure the ratchet mechanism works OK.

Thanks @voipio it was just the jaws I thought looked really worn, I didn't expect them to be as polished or the wider round parts to be flared the way they are

I only included the whole tool picture so people could see which tool it was as the body looks perfect

Look ok from the images, you will have to practise a bit as some can need the ratchet setting up.

I would have expected a lot more wear marking on the painted parts of the jaws if there had been substantial use in those jaws. The closed jaw gap looks about right. Try them with some flag terminals and see if the resulting crimp is solid.

Maybe the flaring is deliberate, so as the terminal is squashed, it is also compressed slightly (or at least restrained from popping sideways out of the jaws). It looks like the narrow part of both the big and small jaw is towards the outside, so they oppose each other.

I've been after these terminals for years and have never found any when searching for them, as soon as I look for 'flag' terminals I get millions of them. I feel my wallet twitching...

Lol, the terminals haven't arrived yet, have been using the straight uninsulated connectors for years but have limited depth on some connections that I need to make now

I would call both of those flag terminals as the wire comes out at right angles to the push on connector
