Anyone else playing with hydraulics?

Wondering if anyone else has done any projects involving hydraulics?

Any chance you could list the places you bought your stuff from? Always looking for somewhere cheaper

I see that Northern tool have recently started selling rams, but they aren't that cheap, and they appear to be imperial sizes.

I thought the NT rams looked pretty cheep compared with what iv had to pay in the past.

Usually use a local hydraulic specialist, some bearing factors or similar places do the stuff aswell.

Harrier Fluid Power/Flowfit. Here. Their prices are very good. I bought some bits off them last year which have caused no probs.
I don't know if they do rams - which arn't in their catalogues - but it wouldn't surprise me.

Interesting thread, I'm interested in experimenting with hydraulics in the near future so am also happy too see any resources and suppliers. Just out of curiosity, what do you use them for Mith, if you don't mind me asking.

im just waiting on a couple of the nt rams will post up the job once its finished.

Snowcat, I found welded metric rams for not too much more than the NT ones. I agree though, they are cheaper than some places I got quotes from.

Simon, I think harrier do do rams, they have them advertised on their ebay shop atleast.

Danny, I am just adding the finishing touches to a loader. Got plans to upgrade alot of stuff to hydraulics, what can I say, I'm looking for an easier life
