I'll see your tiny anvil and raise you a tiny vice! :-) It's sitting on a six incher for scale.



It belonged to my father-in-law who died last year. It's a bit sentimental so I made up a tiny bench to put it on.

I'm assuming the Brundles one was for there centenary ? Is that the right word ? So it's been in my possession for 31 years , not sure on the Record one don't know where that come from , I got a plastic lorry from Brundles last year ! Not a patch on the Anvil

Made by my grandfather many years ago, probably 1930’s. He was the foreman in a foundry and a master craftsman - his final test piece for apprentices was to get them to cast a cup and saucer with a teaspoon in the cup, all in one piece in bronze. I also have a couple of little bronze elephants that he cast using a plastic model he bought in Woolworths as the pattern.

What a great story. My granddad was a tool maker. Ive got all his engineering bits and projects
