If you go over to the fullfat website and look in the wiki the LR workshop manuals are available for download. I found the complete one for my 2011 there and luckily it went down to the detail (which order of o rings and spacers for the suspension strut air bags) that I needed. I'd imagine it details how to do a bearing change.As above really. I think my nearside rear needs doing but I am guessing from the lack of 'how to's' on the internet that its not all that common to do them at home? Its sat in the shed since March and I dont really want a big garage bill at the moment!
Thanks that. Thats handy. So carrier off the vehicle... i cant remember but will this then need an alignment check when it goes back together?You need a press, and whilst you've got the hub out, I'd do the toe link as access will be easier.
Don't worry too much about the 'special tools', sockets, old bearing races ground down, bits of scaffolding etc. can be used for a one (or two) off job.
