Anyone able to TIG stainless and has 14mm OD tube/pipe willing to do a job and post...?

Looking to get a 1.5m length of stainless tube/pipe capped at one end with a 20-25mm x 2(+)mm thick disk so it's watertight. Open the other end. Tube needs to be 14mm OD and ~11mm ID. Needs to be decent enough stainless to cope with acid/alkali environment.

I could buy the tube and stainless mig it but I don't trust my welds to be either watertight or not contaminated with something the chemicals will eat.

I expect to have to pay the going rate if anyone's able to do it.

Regarding grade....316? I really don't know what would be best. It's not mechanically stressed but does see some mild acid/alkali in a daily hot wash. There is an original bit, I'm copying (lengthening) I don't know much about it but looks like the disk on the bottom could have been stuck on without using filler. If that helps.

It's part of a level sensor. A float rides up and down the tube and transmits level information to some electronics wizardry inside the tube. As such, OD and ID need to match pretty well but the disk ont the bottom could be anything that will seal the hole and stop the float falling off the end. A bit of flat bar if it's easier.

Not sure if they are allowed any more for dairy on potential unsanitary crevices, but the float control supplied with our milk transfer vessel has these.

Looks a lot more legit than the jubilee clip that stops the float from rising all the way up on ours!

But either way, it needs to be sealed at the base so might as well use that to stop it falling off too

Yikes £127 for just materials is a bit much. A couple metres at £22 sounds ok though. I had been looking at the likes of this on eBay
