My lad's Anycubic printer keeps randomly stopping mid print. He reckons it's down to a break in either the green or blue wire going to the bed thermistor. Lots of Y axis movement seems to make it worse.
Insulation and resistance tests of each wire were a bit inconclusive. Wiggling the wire whilst connected though did see the bed temperature occasionally drop to zero.
Cut them off at the bed and was going to solder in new lengths of green and blue but none of my soldering irons reach a high enough temperature. Going to ask at work if I can borrow one of their temperature controlled ones.
