anybody know about shipping to israel ?

Well , tried the above @hotponyshoes , and it relisted without the gps ...so onto the help service, apparently its due to heading its under and custom restrictions , but they advised after checking other similar listings that I should be able to offer international post...my only concern there is of course if he goes ahead then states never arrived and gets full refund , geussing the only answer is to get payment straight into my bank ? well thats been a productive day

If ebay are blocking it on the gsp I'd be very wary of offering to post it yourself.
Odds are it will be siezed (or heavily delayed) by customs at the far end and the buyer will end up opening a dispute and you'll loose the money.
You could explain that to the buyer and say you'll only accept a bank transfer for payment. Import/customs is the responsibility of the buyer/importer so if they think they can bring it in ok then leave it up to them.

Or, you could check yourself to see if it is allowed into Israel. If that's the case then just list it in a different category...

The official list is on the Israel gov website but I can't read Hebrew...

Don't think you'll have an issue with a lathe part.
Once you have found a customs code for it put that into Google with the words Israel Restrictions and see if anything pops up.

Israel is included in the gsp but some items are excluded. So ebay just block any/all items listed under certain categories from Israel/gsp.

One workaround is to list the item in another category. Ie if you've listed in industrial tools try listing it in diy tools or something.

If you sign out of your ebay account then find your own listing you can choose a shipping destination to make sure it's showing as available to Israel

Sorry didn't realise the staff member I asked was off and not picking up his emails. He is back in Tuesday. He knows more about Israeli customs than I do.

Car parts can be a nightmare. Not prohibited so don't show up but then can be rejected due to wrong compliance.
