After a bit of help with a hot air (plastic welder) gun,
I think mine is a raychem thermo gun which I am pretty sure is identical to the leister triac.
On the end are 2 rocker switches.
The main power switch is labelled 0-1.
The other is marked 2-3.
If I switch the main switch to '1' the fan starts running and the gun blows cold air.
I need to switch the other switch to '3' to get any heat from the gun.
I kind of remember having 2 heat settings on this gun at some stage. I was about to take it apart and have a look at it but a mate of mine reckons it's supposed to work like that as the instructions say it needs to blow cold air for a while after use.
Just wondered if anybody has one and could confirm how it is supposed to work?
Thanks!
