Anybody familiar with Autoterm heaters ?

As above.

I've two issues, and I've installed a half dozen.

1) Over the weekend one 12v battery in a three pack in series died, bulged, and possibly took out the autoterm, throws up error codes for the diesel pump, which blows fuses, I've had the company on the the phone but not very useful, they're in Latvia and there are communication issues.

Was working fine last week.

It was turned off over the weekend.

2) trying to get a unit to run of a wall thermostat, it's a non starter.

This is a problem with the controller, it's a Comfort thing.

These are central heating 5kw systems when they work they're great, when they don't ....

Only familiar with the 2kW version. I think the controls run on some sort of serial protocol (CANbus??).

What codes does it throw up?

On the 2kW version, you can fit a remote temperature sensor instead of a wall stat. Not sure if 5kW is the same.

(I have a part number somewhere for a cheaper version if you are interested.)

There’s also a ‘wall stat’ like controller (PU-5), but note that it doesn’t contain any temperature sensing.

Sorted the first issue, although no under voltage code, the battery pack died over the weekend throwing weird error codes, I realised the charger had died this morning, 11.8v obviously insufficient.
