Any wood botherers recomend me a bandsaw fence

hello all, i have just recived my new toy, a felder 640 it has been knocked over in the past so has a bit of damage, fortunately not as bad as my wadkin the couriers fixed for me.
the rip fence rail has been bent and the fence damaged.

Can anyone recommend a good fence replacement thats nice to use

it could be fixed, but is very basic and i was just wondering of there is anything nice around. the machine was a good deal do i dont mind putting a little bit in to it as its a keeper.

I bough a Wadkin BZB20 with a knackered after market fence. It wasn't too knackered so I fixed it and enhanced it a bit. Its a Kreg KMS7200 fence

how it was, obviously involved in some blunt instrument action. Locking knob snapped off and extrusion bent

So after a bit of sorting it now works. The bad thing is that the fence was a bit short for my use, and the Wadkin table is a bit short so I thought I would fix both of these issues.

I had to buy some more kreg extrusion the same as as was originally used. The original bit is in the foreground. The Kreg extrusion was silly money and difficult to find over here, but it eventually came up on the bay at only slightly extortionate pricing. I have other plans for the other bits of extrusion so it will work out ok cost wise.

it now extends the full width of the table. I haven't cut it to length yet, I will the next time I get the rage saw out.

I also bolted an aluminium, bar to the back

and added a clamp. I don't always clamp it up but if I'm doing some big heavy resawing then its handy. I think the clamp acme from Scott and Sergeant

The bar extends the full width of the throat so provides support where the table ends. The fence can be moved all the way to the left. The upright bit is a Kreg resaw guide.

You can also buy a fine adjuster

heard on another forum that the K reg is very good......
plan on getting one myself.........

Yes, I find it's ok for the stuff I'm doing, the crown on it allows you to make fine adjustments when resawing. The planks need to go through the thicknesser afterwards but only to skim off the high spots if your careful.
