Can't help with the calcs but I believe if it will be occupied space ie office then the steel needs to be coated with intumescent paint.

Fair enough I stand corrected, I only mentioned as the place I pick up offcuts of steel from was telling me about the cost of the paint he was using and the requirement for burn times. He is the one of the owners and does much of the design work and calculations as they build steel framed buildings. I thought it was safe to assume he knows what he's talking about and he specifically mentioned comercial spaces as i was getting an idea on cost of a building with a second floor at one end.
