Any solution for pure argon?

Guys.
I got welder in my garage and
used my first bottle of pure argon after 4 uses .i was practicing.
i wanna keep welding orherwise my tig is not being used.
its my passion and love it to bits.
just got fears that my next bottle will run out sooo quick again.my wife is upset when i mention about ordering new bottle haaa.
what shoould i do.
any tips soulutions hints how to keep longer or cheaper gas for welding.Tig welding

Check for leaks and buy a proper flowmeter - don't rely on the gauges as I haven't found them to be massively accurate.

Get a flow meter, 6-8 lpm flow will be fine if your in a non windy garage.

Yeah that can bleed off gas quicker if you have a leak,
get in the habit of welder off and bottle off at the same time, do it enough times and you'll soon remember.

Get the biggest bottle you can lay your hands on. Its cheaper in the long run. I found it cheaper to get a big bottle for £39 and just under £6 rent for bottle per month than any hobby gas.

However I did set up a trade account with a supplier I deal with through work so think they where doing me a favour really.

Turn off the cylinder at the valve then come back later and see if the pressure has dropped on the gauges. If it has, look for the leak.

I don't know the ltr or letter of the bottle if got but its the massive one that's about 5' 6'' tall.

Are you on scratch start tig with gas valve on torch? Or is it actuated from the welder? Is the welder turning gas on and off ok. If it is scratch with valve are you turning it on and off as you need.

All ppl say to get from BOC call them and pay about 100 pounds for 1 bottle 20 litr delivered. i wish it could last 3 4 months with myself welding 1,5 h a week more less

its Tig Welder with button so activates when you push the button.

Find a local independent gas supply/pub gas chain. When I rang boc I fell of my chair. They wanted £45 to deliver!!!!! I said I would collect then they wanted £15 if I collected it.

do you have a gas flow meter ? and how many lpm did you have it set at

I only have that round one with came with tig set.dont have the long narrow one
need to get one to control precisely gas flow. i think i had mine one on abound 6 0 7 lpm
