any one know who makes sainsburys red tv range ?

as above any one dont know who makes these sainsburys tv from a few years ago

i got a tv that the romote does not work and need to buy a new one for but to get one cheap could do with knowing the orignal maker could possably get a universal remote

any one have an idea ?

I had a universal remote for a tv that was a random brand and it found the code using search,

I had the similar problem with an aldi home brand tv......I just put the model number from the back of the tv into ebay and found loads of them.

Thanks looking at a few of the numbers off the boards vestel has come up a few times

All supermarket sets, Toshibas and Panasonic up to 32" are cheap and nasty Vestel junk. Also many of the household names that we used to trust are the same, Grundig, Blaupunkt, Bush etc. Apart from LG, there isn't much non Vestel stuff on sale. I deliberately don't mention Sony because I will never recommend Sony to anyone ever again after their root kit fiasco and the games console launch.

thanks for all the replys vestel seamed to be a good shout after looking on line at the interinal compoinents

i had a poundland remote universal remote laying around and tryed the vestel numbers in it i got it to work on 70 percent of items on the normal remote

but it works for the few items we actualy need as the kids use it for just a gaming tv so only need volume av and enter butten and power off and on

thiswill do us for a few weeks untill in to the new year and got time to seach for a proper remote
