Ok so I got a load of taps and Dies from an auction lot the other week and have no idea what to do with the BSC and BSF and WW bits and pieces, I cant see me using them and well be sad to bin them if people think they may have value of some kind?

Yer don't bin them, those of us into old motors like that sort of thing. Perhaps bundle them up in lots and put up an ad in the for sale section.

3/8 BSF is always useful.. if you have any of those taps and dies.

When you say BSC are you meaning British Standard Conduit or cycle? I'd be interested in them if they're cycle thread.

Definitely do not bin them. There is always a want for bsw ECT.

All I know is some say BSC... Never used non-metric ones personally so all the letter dont mean alot (I say BSC might be something else ending with a C and Starting with a B)

Are they a fine thread? Cycle is usually 26tpi regardless of diameter.

What I will do is bundle them up and put them on the equipment for sale thread not going to be asking a lot as rather they are used than scrapped and will keep postage as low as possible.

If you're after Cycle I know of a place that keeps them on the shelf and does mail order.
