Boc = Top Dollar tho!
We use a company called EngWeld who have branches all over (Not sure whats near you) they are Lincoln dealers.

Thanks guys,
Si im asking because the more i think about it,i need a good duty mig thats portable as i tend to travel to peoples houses,farms ets to repair stuff for people,and i wanted to have a look at a Lincoln sp170 in the flesh,i know they're pricey but very well made,and until i can get a decent workshop established i need to be fairly mobile (and i aint lifting a portamig around).
I want a portamig,but i need to be mobile first.
Ive looked at the Butters 170 as a possible option,but ive heard some excellent things about the lincoln and dont mind paying decent money (or if i can find a secondhand unit) there is a spares/repairs one on ebay but im waiting for a reply on whats wrong with it.
Im waiting for you guys to pull this post apart now!
Hi Hunterowe,
I havent bought a mig yet due to financial constraints,but im seriously looking at the Kemppi Miniarcmig 180 as a comparison to the SP170.
