What is your intention with this item? Do you want to restore it and keep it or do you want to make as much money out of it as possible?

if you want to restore it but don’t know how, this is not the ideal starter project. You risk damaging it and rendering it unusable.

if you want to maximise your return (and avoid accidentally destroying an historical artefact) best sell it to someone who knows how. If I was buying something like that, I would much prefer to get my hands on it prior to anyone else “having a go”....

PS not my cuppa tea at all so this is not a negotiating tactic.

heres what its like inside all turns over nice , gauge wont ever work again its some kind of monkey metal thats gone all crumbly , but i can bypass that i think
