hi all thanks for all the replies i took a pic of the gas bit today is it the hole block that needs replacing or just a section ? i am thinking of a new boiler but as xmass is coming me sons list is that big i want this i want that me campervan is stuck outside me house with rear bottom quarter still off think hunter27 might be the cheapest option first ?

if your replacing the gas valve its the whole block, id take hunter up on his offer first, few quid postage and if it works your laughing

hi all thanks hunter for sending me the valve top man fitted it today whoo and there was heat just in time for kids off school bound to pore down with rain or snow now i got heat might try and put a new timer on seeing as it only works on the switches dosent look that hard does it ???????

If you fit a new timer, get one with an industry standard base, will make any future upgrades easier as they just plug in - look for your local Newey & Eyre (Hagermeyer) or CEF and offer to pay cash, normally get a good price / discount.
