And on Chinooks and they vibrate more than a knackered washing machine with a couple of bricks in the drum on full spin.They’re used on light aircraft engine cowlings, they don’t come undone

Out of the 12 bolts on the offside only was is accessible from the rear to fit a nut, luckily for me this was the one with the stripped thread!

Cut out a disc of the rubber, replace with a suitable thickness washer in at the screw locations, that allows it to tighten down properly. Better still, use shoulder bolts.
Get the threaded holes sorted, shim the holes so it tightend down, and use nylok screws would be my route.

No , Use a 32 ounce blow lamp heated copper soldering iron , put a heated ready for soldering iron into the head of the bolt and the Loctite will soften for easy extraction. Though that's not often feasible at the scene of the job.
I'd drill all the threaded holes out and put in quality rivi-nuts pulled up from below the channel /plate , Counter drilling from the unshouldered end if needed to get a quality tight fit . The thing is to also put two or three locating pin holes in the checker plate & the locating pins in the channel etc. so it is perfectly aligned over the holes and impress the only way to refit the plate is to do cross diagonal selection of screws 1/2 a turn at a time after doing them up[ finger tight like a cylinder head should be done, working out from the centre as the only way to refit the plates , ensuring a bolt is finger tight in all holes before the REAL & FINAL tightening up takes place .
Otherwise, you'll always end up with badly worn threads and holes when things are not tightened as recommended Even the slightest misalignment when fully tightening a screw can cause all the other holes to be just a gnats hair off, leading to wear and looseness problems pretty quickly.
Dealerships & their fitters are about the last place/ people to contact if you want a job doing correctly because time is money .
