any ideas sparkys?

in the past ive had a bit of trouble with the ellecs in my rented unit.
ie, they keep tripping, if i rum a 1500watt motor they will trip.

now ive got this ere murex sorted there tripping again, there fine if the power stting is on 1 to 4 but if i turn it up to 5/6 they trip.

as i rent the unit i can get the owner to sort it out, hes a friedly chap!

me not knowing ****** all about leccys really, heres whats on the trips.

16amp socket ---- breaker---mtn116----b16.

240 socket---breaker----ad107----b16.

these figures mean nothing to me, but could this be the cause of the trips going all the time???

The relevant info is B16 this means it's a B curve mcb, for a welder fitting a C or D curve mcb can help, do you know what current the weldset draws, it's usually on a ratings plate stuck on the back.

the 16 amp socket breaker can be changed for a c type giving a higher starting current. the 16 amp breaker for the 240v sockets can be uprated to a 20 amp mcb providing the cable is wired in 2,5mm minimum
