any fit thier own carpets?

Theres isnt a great deal of things i prefer to pay people to do, but carpet fitting is on my list of things best left to the pros.

I've always fitted the carpets I find it easy, my son in a floorer just about all his work is commercial

i think i will give it a go , i do everything else that i can

its only a small room and a plain carpet so shouldnt be too bad , its more a case of i want it done when im ready than trying to save a few quid

I did my daughters bedroom after being let down by a carpet fitter.Job went ok but it took me 4 hours to do(would probably take a fitter 1/2 hour),scuffed my knees to bits and was aching for days after.Will never bother again.
