Morning all,

Recently my laptops antivirus keeps kicking in and once its done its checks i get this window popping up before the laptop reboots itself!!

Does anyone know what it means?

I got some rubbish from WonderShare loaded onto my computer when I tried to install a video editing program.

I'd look at your installed programs and uninstall anything from Wondershare.

Im no computer whizz and sometimes i may do things im not sure i have. Sometimes if a window pops up and it looks like an action that needs to be taken i click ok and let it do its thing so its possible ive done some sort of search.
for some reason too a had a Norton package show up saying my computer had 700+ issues and to clean them off would cost me £19.99 but i already have Kaspersky installed so went to 'My Computer' and uninstalled it about 5 mins ago.

I use Kaspersky and if you mean dodgy sites you mean this one then yes. Any other's then i daren't as my kids use this laptop for movies etc...

I installed something a while back when i tried to recover stuff from my mobile phone and im sure that was from Wondershare. I'll take a look now and uninstall if thats the case. Thanks

My best advice would be to download and run Malwarebytes. It sounds like you may have a few issues there. It is a free download and use program.

My experience of Norton was that it's very resource hungry, slowed my pc to a crawl.

Hi download this https://www.malwarebytes.org/ install update and run a quick its free to download and try let us know if it finds anything. Plus look in your trash and see if there's a Ole32 in there if yes restore it

Seems like a log of programmes but they all work a little differently and are better at some tasks than others

Downloaded Malware Bytes and it came up with 16 issues. Didnt have anytine to see it all through as its my turn to take my lad swimming but i pressed 'fix now' and will pick it up in the morning when im back in the office. Thanks for the heads up, I'll then run the cleaner that Robostart5 mentions

I know I've said this before but if you only do basic stuff like email, web browsing, office etc on your PC (and that's a lot of us) consider running a version of Linux, Ubuntu is a good starting point. Just check that your printer, scanner, camera etc is supported.

I've been Windows free for a couple of decades now and don't miss it at all, basically you can say goodbye to malware, viruses etc.

too true mallwear can be anywhere u just need decent antiviris to protect yourself god forbid them watching things like ur online banking ect
