I used to shoot a lot of clays, until i worked out what i was spending on it. Luckily about the same time, we were allowed to licence pistols over here again, and i bought a centrefire and a rimfire. Only have the .22 now and its cheap to feed. Centrefire rifle ammo has gone very expensive, i rocked up to a gunshop to buy some .243, couple of boxes of federal, and i nearly got a nosebleed when i was told the price.
