I have just gone green (envy) I have had three labs,seperately, each had their own definate character , all were fully trained , miss having one but at this moment in time its not practical , they are definately the best company if your country guy. Enjoy while you can!

They're enjoyable unless you're trying to do something. The little bitch (well not so little) that's going to my parents has got into the habit of while I'm at the sink preparing their food of coming in and sinking her teeth into my Achilles tendon.
I'm knackered at the moment with feeding them roughly at 6am, 12pm, 6pm and 12am. But probably looks like I'm going to have them on my hands for a while longer than anticipated.
Phoenomenally timed by Tali, gave birth during lambing at my parents so meant I've been tied down because I couldn't get cover most days. Now the virus so won't be able to get rid of them when they're ready!

I used to shoot a lot of clays, until i worked out what i was spending on it 
. Luckily about the same time, we were allowed to licence pistols over here again, and i bought a centrefire and a rimfire. Only have the .22 now and its cheap to feed. Centrefire rifle ammo has gone very expensive, i rocked up to a gunshop to buy some .243, couple of boxes of federal, and i nearly got a nosebleed when i was told the price.

I limit myself , only started a couple years back , persistant nagging by brother and his buddies , but found it great to walk away from work/house etc for a couple of hours , only do local stuff and every other week , easy on the pocket that way, seeing I dont smoke/drink/eat out/holiday think its quite acceptable way of having a break. and great to meet decent people.

I used to until a shoulder injury stopped play. Sold all but one of my guns but couldn’t part with my first gun, a Berreta Silver Pigeon 12g O/U multichoke 32”. The most comfortable gun of all the ones I had.
Would love a pair of Purdys or H&H though. Used to have a H&H Range Rover but sadly not the guns to go with it.
