Any Autocad experts out there???

help I'm stuck, i working on a 3D drawing and want to trim a box section a degrees, its not playing ball, as the edges are not perpendicular , tried bugging with the UCS planes etc, still doesn't want to know grrrrr..... Oh and iv set edge mode to 0, that doesn't help......

Snowie, if you wish to pm me more details, I can ask a guy at work who teaches CAD. He is part time, so not sure what days he works at the mo, assuming time aint an issue mate?

Have you tried exploding it? It won't trim if it's a polyline. I think

Failing that, are you absolutely sure the lines touch/intersect? Because if they don't then you can't use the trim command as the line being trimmed doesn't know where it's meant to be trimmed to...

thanks chaps I sorted it, shortened the extrusion then drew a triangle on the end, pedit'ed em together, auto cad always makes you think miles out the box
