They do leave messages from beyond
There is also a story to go with them.
They have a symbiotic relationship with the Chinese money plants.
They collect the seeds and grow fungus on them, then when the seeds are finished with the ants leave them to germinate, causing massive clumps of the plants. Hence the plants incredible fecundity.
BUT there is a parasitic spider involved, he lives in brood chambers on the roots of the pants end eats the ants. And dammit I cant find a photo of the spider. To follow.

These were all discovered by my Great Grandfather on his expedition to the Caves of Katchap Dijong in Borneo, see centipede thread for more info.

Basically I got bored with copying from nature books so I have started making up my own critters and plants, and being a tragic nerd they all have to have proper names using the Linnaean system. It is also funny lying to people at exhibitions.

It does get a bit cluttered in here, but the good ideas stick.
Mrs C' can see when it is happening, eg in Sainsburys I go all quiet and my eyes glaze over and I start muttering to myself and wonder off randomly.

Jealous? no we all have the capacity to do our own version, relax, drink mildly toxic apple based fluids and it will come. Or just look at things and stuff and think how they go together.
I have just browsed your threads, you are a very practical bloke, you can easily do this stuff.
Jump outside the box and look at something, then do it. Tree? plant? bird? funny thingy?

Practical? Yes. Too Practical I'd say. Has to have a purpose, at the moment. Plus Im the master of unfinished Projects, I trying to work my way through them, once I've managed that mountain you might have some competition, but I doubt it.
