Another yellow goodie

In my quest for world domination for all things tool handy, i have ordered one of these....Tried one out today and they are really good quality and will be just the right thing to have keeping on top of tire pressures for the truck and vans. with my dealer discount just over £100. Sick and tired of buying cheap inflaters for them to burn out or running too hot after 3 mins.

i used to run a hose off the air tanks ,,, no poing in having a 280hp powered compressor and not getting every bit of goodness from it ,,, best thing is ts always there too.

i have a portable tank i use .it serves as a cooling tank as well

Thats the handy thing about this one, no pulling air lines out the workshop and being cordless no plugging into car socket. Come summer will also inflate the Kayaks with the large volume connector at the water edge.

Been looking at putting a tmaxx compressor in the truck but (don't hate me for this) using a old fire extinguisher (if will take the pressure) as a remote reciever.
This way can have the best of both worlds and can remove the tank if wanted.

Get down to a lorry yard and ask for an air tank.

That’s what my tmax feeds. Look on gaztube for how to rig it up with shut offs and pressure switches etc.

That's clever having the option of shifting air high volume low pressure for inflatable boats and also low volume high pressure for tyres. It can go on the wish list!

I have plans (and the bits) to make a compressor, low pressure medium volume, to feed my air fed painting mask. All H&S bods turn away now, but this mask is a pressure fed left over from a working ba set. It used to be fed by my atlas copco, but since I got rid of that I needed something else. The Gast diaphragm compressor I have has just about enough delivery, but if I breath hard I can overcome the feed rate. So a small reservoir would seem to be the order of the day - 30 psi in a fire extinguisher with pressure start stop and blow off valve should do it, with a regulator afterwards, before my mask.
What could go wrong?

At home for the van, bikes etc I fire up the 50yo IR30.
If a car or more of a pest to get at or out - then I use a Track Pump. Cheap as chips, easy to use, and faster (& quieter) than a DC dinky compressor.

I have industrial compresses and airlines coming out the wazoo but sometimes convenience and mobility comes at a price,around home and on road trips
