Another what is it???

Got this in a job lot of blacksmiths tools a wile ago but it's use escapes me, it looks like it has been manufactured rather than home made. Looks good quality, no makers marks. Anyone got any ideas?

I thought scraper at first glance, but I don't think so, it doesn't look sharp enough. Bit of a mysteron.

It's 26 1/2" long, and it marks easily with a file so don't think it's a scraper.

I'd expect the top to be flattened from belting it with a hammer if that was the case?

Is it sharp? we have a similar thing like a billhook or straight scythe for trimming anything from hedges to verges in a hacking motion?!

Not sharp at all it's about 1/4" thick, parallel across the blade width.

exactly my thought i use mine when trimming the bushes or traveling through the jungle,its supposed to be my back garden.
