Dad brought it home from work, apparently it's been in his cupboard for years but he thinks it came from the operating theatres originally.

Any ideas? It's steel, maybe stainless. Engraved on the back it says "L.S.C°" and "N°.2"

You have the size all wrong, the longest dimension is about 2" and the sofa is suede.
