Just had 4 cu mtr for £400 inc VAT for paths made from crushed clean local black limestone delivered and driver waited till the three guys barrowed the majority of it it over 55 mtrs down the garden and laid the paths.

Building your own is most definitely the way to go. Rake in the man points. Be sure to get your hands on an oscillating tool bladehttp://www.multifitblades.com. I got one when I started building my shed and it helps a lot - so versatile.

Old thread, so little story: Older bro was an a junior engineer on the M6, responsible for a mile. Guy comes up one day, very irate. Seems he was a local farmer that had bought a few 'spare' loads to do a hard standing on the farm. His daughter had got pally with the driver and was with child. So what were the company going to do about it? ( Driver had not been seen at the farm after he found out about the sprog.) Bro asked a few more questions... Of course the driver was selling loads on the black and was nowhere to be seen. Farmer ended up paying full price for the slab on top of the discounted price he had paid earlier. Daughter was a single parent.

Most impressive. The "finishing touches"- like the detailing on the corner braces make all the difference.
How'd you do the roof and ridge cap?
It looks too neat for closeboard.
It's a shame Ratty never returned to the original thread. I was following it with interest when it was running as I'm planning an (approx.) 22 x 12 shed / workshop for myself.
