Another roofing question

I'm building a new shed - just for storage of some timber, steel lengths and such.

I managed to get hold of some cheap fibreglass roofsheets - £5 for 2off 6ft X 1m cover. - I bought £100 worth

I'm worried about condensation off the roof.

I've left a vent/air gap all the way around the walls between the roof plate and the sheets and it's not exactly air tight. (Walls are 2mm plastic strips about 10" wide, overlapped so rainproof)

The floor is rough rubble, sand, damp proofing sheet, then pallets.

How bad can I expect the condensation to be?
Not as bad as metal roofing, I'm guessing.

I really like the translucent fibreglass roofing - it's less fragile than the corrugated plastic, much cheaper than corrulux, and obviously, I don't need a light fitting for through the day.

Watch your arms and such with that stuff. Any bare body part which contacts fibreglass may itch for a good while afterwards. I have a few old sheets here, and hate it when/if I have to shift them.

So you've basically built an open sided barn with plastic strips for walls? Do the strips reach the ground? I don't think you will be bothered with condensation in a shed that well ventilated!

BTW, you got a great deal on those fibreglass sheets! I needed 2 as replacements for an agricultural shed & I nearly had a heart attack when I was quoted a price. I fitted ordinary plastic ones & one is cracked already so I might have to fit the FG ones!

It's not open sided - instead of shiplap timber, it's got shiplap plastic!
But yes, plenty of ventilation.

will the roof be an apex roof or a single pitch roof?

Apex.
Shed is 12ftx 9ft, pitch about 1 : 5
Ridge is 12ft

it should be fine for storage until you spend a little time in there however the air gap around should keep it aired over enough not to create condensation on the roof

ive put concrete flags down in mine and stored in there with cardboard boxes and wood, steel and other stuff with no ill effects roof is cement fibre sheets

some metal has gained a light rusty appearance though
