Do the LED tubes give more light output than an equivalently-sized fluorescent? If so. I'll probably upgrade the ones in my garage.

The LEDHut tubes quote 1500 ~ 1600 lumens per 4ft tube, which is less than the nominal 2800 lumens for a 4ft fluorescent - however, the fluoros I have are quite old and are probably only putting out what the LEDs will anyway.

Otoh, the LEDs output should remain fairly stable over their life - that's the hope, anyway. Overall, I probably won't notice much difference, except easy light-up and long life (and less power used).
It occurs to me I could also stick in some LED lighting strips to the 4x ceiling fixtures to compensate - that would be cheap to add.
