I got some Crown 2.5l coloured emulsion for £6 from there the other week, plus loads of spray paint for £2 a can as they seem to be changing supplier. The bargain shelves seem to a new thing. I love a bargain.

I like the b and q bargain bins, loads of damaged bits in them usually, I saw one had a set of carbide burrs in for 3 quid, but loads missing, until I found another half set, ended up with a full set of carbide burrs for 6 quid and some spares

Magnolia.
if you're after cheap paint brushes, I use these ones from Home Bargains, 1" are £0.29, 2" are £0.49, 3" are £0.79 and 4" are £0.99. they have long tapered bristles, dont loose bristles like many cheap brushes. I use them for painting car parts and under cars, its cheaper to get a new brush than the cost of cleaning the old ones (and you get nice new bristles as the way I paint makes a mess of them)

I checked with some one that know! He said 5 tins so still another 10 litres of paint to spare for a reasonably good amature !!!

No it's not, it's crown Matt emulsion in Bicottii, enough to do a couple of rooms with a twin coat as me mate said a sib gnome coaot isn't enough, at £17 quid I can do as many Coates as I want

For brushes, we often get the pack of around 10 Harris brushes from Costco. Usually around £11.
If anybody lives near Manchester, the Brooklyn Outlet nr Walkden sells cheap paint. Standard price for 2.5l is £13 - which isn't bad if the big shops don't have a deal on. The tins are often dented and you have to choose from what is there though. It's one of those places that is 95% complete tat but some decent bargains as well. Their wallpaper is £7 a roll, whether it's designer or B and Q end of range.
B and M have decent deals on big tubs of magnolia and white usually. We painted the outside of our house with a tub of Sanderson from there for about a tenner. Again, shop is full of cheap tat but the odd bargain too.
I can't believe how much paint has gone up in price, so got to love bargain paint. When Au Natural went into admin, we bought 5l tubs of Dulux one coat for £2 each. Did most of the house in it.
