Android anti virus help

Hi all, I believe my phone has a virus bug or what ever they are called (not really tech savvy). The issue I'm having making me believe this is, while using my phone on one app, just say facebook (it also happens on other apps) with no YouTube links on my screen to accidently click on , it'll open YouTube even though I haven't used it and it's not open in the background and it will open and play some random videos. Plus I received a text message earlier and I've checked it up online and it's a scam and states don't click the link, but I already did before checking online. I clicked on the link and it went to a error screen

Can anyone please recommend a good anti virus app I can download to keep me protected thank you.

sorry at a loss at what your trying to say a bit garbled to a degree

That link has probably been taken down now.
It was phishing for your bank details that it would have asked you for via that link....

Sorry I'll try my best to explain: so recently I'll be using my phone on whatever app at the time and randomly YouTube will open and start playing random videos. Even though it's not even open in the background like the antivirus app in the picture below.

Plus I received that text message in my first post a couple hours ago but i clicked the link to see what it was, and it took me to a error screen. so I copied the message and pasted it on google and it said its a scam don't click on the link but I already did.

Does this mean that I'm safe from the link in the text message ?
Have you any explanation of why YouTube keeps randomly opening and starts playing videos, but it only happens while on my phone but not when it's locked

Thank you. I'll give it a read shortly. Can you recommend any malware protection apps even if I have to pay for them

first rule of thumb shut your phone down

second is try and find what your after

then its go after the malware or the app that has caused it delete it in safe mode and reboot your phone

somewhere you have installed something could be something new that you installed could be something that you allowed to be installed that caused the infection in the first place

i only use the mobile phone on data to access sites i know to be true otherwise rule of thumb stay off them with a phone

if you telephone bank or anything private they have it and then you wonder why i refuse to use online banking via phone or computer

i cant quote avg to use i went off the program years ago however it does have good info to use

ATM I can't shut it down as I have no PC or laptop to search for the best antivirus.

I did download a music app recently that my moms bf told me to download and since then, now I think of it, is when the problems started.
So am I right in thinking in future if I use my mobile data it's harder to get hacked once I've sorted this issue.

I think I need to become more aware of what can actually happen. Just reading that link is pretty scary tbh

no pc best get something else either a notepad notebook or laptop

i prefer pc get a virus reinstall everything from a backup in 6 minutes

you would be surprised what phones can do but there also easy access to others never download anything unless you know what it is

always use trusted sites via mobile not so sure dont mobile connect it

Malwarebytes have an Android version, I believe.

The text is just phishing. I've had that a couple of times, (exact wording) though pertaining to my provider.
As long as you don't give your bank details you should be OK.
