Ancient model Migmate 130T : Gasless?

I have the ancient model Migmate 130T with the row of 'radio' pushbuttons for power selection ( one High/Low button and 3 buttons labelled Min,Med & Max ). Not the rocker switches.

Can this device use gasless wire? I can't see any obvious way to easily switch polarity.

Also, if anyone has a manual for this particular device it'd be much appreciated ( although it probably isn't too dissimilar to the later model ).

did you ever get your answer? I have the same very old 130 t
I got it from a friend who has passed away, I put a gas bottle on the end of the tube but when i pull the trigger nothing comes out so thing there is a problem with the trigger, I did some welding with it today with the gas not coming out and it did work but splattered everywhere so I'm thinking of trying gasless wire, but can I change the polarity?
there are some small wires in the top where the rollers are are these anything to do with it!??

I gave up on the investigation and just got a cylinder of rent free gas! I've not needed to do anything outdoors yet but if I do I'll worry about it then.
