While doing this,
I appear to have disturbed and old compression joint further along. The house has a long history of freinds of family declaring themselves tradesmen when a need arises so its all a bit Heath Robinson... Anyway, assuming I have now stopped it getting any worse, I now have a laminate floor that is not quite floating. In places a little bit of water comes up between the boards when I walk on it. The question is, how do I best remove the water? Under the laminate is a ceramic tiled floor, under that is old concrete and no damp proof. I have a bouncy castle fan blowing air under the units and just at the moment no house insurance to claim on.
