Amateur mig welds

These were a the first patches I made on my s13 240sx restoration project.
I'm currently patching other areas of the car but I was wondering if there was a way to go back and make these welds look any better, with out cutting and re-welding a new patch in. So far I have ground them down with an angle grinder. But they still look eh.

Did you clean the steel well with a grinder before welding ? You could always grind them flat then re weld the joint, looks like you need to keep you hand a lot steadier and move smoothly along

I did clean the metal before welding. I definitely do need to keep it steadier hah. I guess I'll try going over and see how it goes.

I've seen far worse than that.
You can grind much more off those, looks like you've barely threatened them with a grinder.

I think I'll pick up one of those flapper discs for the grinder tomorrow and see if that helps. And then see if I can go over some areas if needed.
