Aluminium wire - what is this?

I'm not too up with my Aluminium alloys, but from some research it would appear this is for high strength/marine applications? Could I weld plan aluminium with it? Any more information on the wire diameter would be helpful.

Also, tea bag wire?

Funny that, tea bag wire is actually for tea bags... duh!

Not quite mig wire then. 0.197 is probably a little on the fine side for wire feed issues...

As for welding? I doubt any set will go low enough to run 0.197mm without volatalising it instantly.
Then theres the drive rolls, contact tips etc

I watched the TV programme years ago, went through the kitchen cupboard and got rid of all aluminium pans etc, Don't know if it did any good, I,m 68 and still can't remember what I had for breakfast!!
