When it was available at work we used dural, is it still used?I found someone on fleabay selling 250mm wide strips of 6082 t6, which should do me for the job i want to do (triton engine plates), I reckon 8mm would be heavy enough which should reduce the price further.
Ronan, We used dural cos it was sort of gifted, anyway put us in the picture what motor are you going to use ETC
Triumph t140, but i put a Norton commando crank in it because its what i had on the shelf, works out well because they are stronger than the triumph one. Norton slimlineframe. I bought these parts years ago and never seriously got stuck into it as a project. I have a bsa a10 on the bench which i hope to get finished after the christmas silliness, then move onto the triton.
