travis (fieldres) on YouTube has just posted a new video on aluminium tig pipe. Looks good, might be of interest to some folk. He's seriously skilled.

I find that most of the "welding " video's are virtually useless. Long distance shots of an arc taking place, On the other hand, Jody's video's on welding tips and tricks are close ups showing technique etc and are excellent to watch.

Travis used to have a channel full of good videos but for whatever reason he closed the whole channel down about a year ago and has been slowly adding them back. I agree, some of the video's out there are a bit of a waste of google's storage and electricity (aren't half of the vids on youtube though?) but there are some very useful ones out there too.

On the whole, after sorting the wheat from the chaff, Youtube has some excellent content, from rocket science to brain surgery. (well almost).
