Whilst waiting for my new tig I've been planning my first project, a welding cart for it out of aluminium tube. Yes I could make it out of steel box but I like a challenge and need the practise with both tube and aluminium so this kills two birds with one stone. It needs to support a light inverter tig and a 20l bottle of argon, would 25x3mm be up to the job? I have very limited experience with aluminium so can't really guesstimate the thickness needed.
