Aluminium Pipe Caps

Evening once again Gents.

Looking for a UK Supplier of Aluminium Domed pipe caps.

4" and 5" OD with a 3mm wall.

I've found a few USA Suppliers, ideally looking for a UK Supplier.

I make my own.
Solid Alu bar. I like to cut a section off and face the end in the lathe for aesthetics then cut the thickness needed in the saw. I then dome them in the vice with a pipe and dolly. Machined side on show

These sizes would be a little big for my lathe and vice but I quite often make dome caps for smaller tube in SS and Alu.

You don't need many tools. Alu bends, finishes and forms very easy. You'll learn a lot of techniques and skills if you start to make your own stuff.
You don't need a lathe I just like the finish it can achieve. Trying to dome your own caps is something a good fabricator should be able to do.

Can you not cut a disc out to OD required in thickness wanted and then weld on? Or is it a removable thing?

This is what I suggested apart from forming it into a dome before welding.
It's a fairly simple thing to do especially in Alu.

Its for intake manifold plenums. a way to cap then plenum and increase volume at the same time without looking silly. They are a mere $7 a pop from the states, i can imagine shipping being a bit on the dear side.
