Aluminium fin repairs

Hope you can help me on this, what would it cost to get fins repaired on a triumph Ally cylinder head? guys quoted me 45.00, is that about right?

As said without pics not enough to go on... i'm thinking probably cheap as you mentioned 'repairing a lot of fins' in the other thread

thats a norton comando or a 650 ss twin carb unmachined cylinder head u said it was a triumphbuy a new one there only a grand fully machined with rockers and valve guides and seats

i would say that is cheap

it is quite specalised doing work like that as you need all the right kit to do a good job which not everybody has

i would be thinking more £70-80 each based on that pic but my pricing isnt my strongest point

So 10 quid a fin is to cheap;-)
