I am new at post forgive me .my ? Is welding layers of thin 4in wide straps to cast parts with a 4 in casting as clip around straps that have been cut to size with saw problem is saw blade has a wax film cutting multi straps looks very clean but when put heat to it has like very small places rejects weld i wire brushed and grinded preheated with tig and plumbers torch and

Clean with acetone or mineral spirits before welding to get the wax/oil off.

Thanks had put denatured achol only thing company. has but going get some acetone for future so lacger thinner work ok only thing is they trip on flamable got get small amount keep hidden
