Alum alloy welding

I'n not a complete newbie to welding as I'm a time served welder but to be honest it over 10 years since I last had a MIG gun in my hand.

I have some alum alloy welding to do in work. Seems to be a casting and once welded it needs to be water tight.
The material is approx 1/4 in thick and I will need to prep to approx 1/2 of that depth.

I only have a MIG available.
Would appreciate any tips on wire,gas and settings.

Hello Baxter, and welcome to the forum.
