Almost another bearing problem

The manual says pry out the dust shield with a scewdriver, oh yea, on this car!

12 stone on the lever.

So tried standing on it then a blow with a large hammer.

This car does not give up anything easily.

The problem doing those with a pry bar is you end up fighting yourself because while levering one side you are forcing the other side in and because the it has quite stiff out shell it doesn't deform that easily.

Need a puller!

A heel bar would be better

I would have attacked it from the outer edge of the seal with a small sharp chisel, Knocked it through and the levered it out, Too much flexibility on the inner edge and not directly applying force to the problem area.
