I am welding back on a fairing tab on my friends crotch rocket. The frame is made out of Alm. Alloy 7020. I called Central Welding Supply and they werent much help on telling me if they had filler rod or wire to weld on this.
Can anyone give me some information on welding on 7020? What kind of filler rod do I need for the TIG or what kind of wire for the wire feed and where can I get it. I am only welding a spot the size of a dime.
