I think the "products" should not be there in the first place. Then these "by-products" would not need using. In the 21st century, I believe that mankind could easily do without the products of animal abuse. Unfortunately there seems little interest in doing so, because the horror of animal abuse is sanitised and the end user does not even think about the suffering that provided the "product".
