aldi metal paint reaction - what to do?

Incomplete old paint removal ,adhesion compromised by removal method, new paint solvents creeping under edges,dissolving old paint causing lifting, proper job of stripping required

That's one ugly paint job.
It may be better to remove the radiator and take it to a paint or furniture stripping co. it would save you a lot of work.

made a similar mistake today shotblasted a car wheel and primed it with an etch primer then a gloss topcoat. the wheel got scratched to hell putting tire on so I re coated the bare metal with primer clean forgot and it reacted with the topcoat and crinkled. left it to harden rubbed it down and a couple more coats of the gloss topcoat. good job it was just on trailer wheel and I hadn't coated the lot
