aldi ferrex reduced in shops

just picked up the ferrex angle grinder, saw the display had 17.99 on it and before I got to the till it had gone down to £12.99

still had to pay full price for the batteries and charger

also had chainsaw at £25 and multi tool at £17.99 but I managed to resist

Suggests that they are clearing them out, and probably won't get any more. I saw some reductions like that when I was looking a couple of weeks ago but angle grinders and the large batteries had already gone from all the stores in my area. In the end I bit the bullet and bought a DeWalt bare angle grinder, as I already have the batteries. Four times the price but it is very well built and comes with a three year warranty if you register on-line.

most of my tools are mains so a grinder, 2 batteries and charger with 3 year warranty for at £87.99 is ideal to have lying around for odd jobs to save running a cable somewhere

If they don't come back in stock then it will be just like the few other odd ball battery tools I have and I can live with that

If they do happen to come back I shall probably get the impact driver as well as that had a good report on here and would be handy to have one
